EXCALIBUR BRONZE
Barclay-Vesey Building

Historic decrorative metalwork re-creation – New York, NY

On 9-11, World Trade Center Building Seven collapsed, completely destroying the eastern façade of the historic Art Deco Barclay-Vesey Building standing next to it. This was one of the sides of the building having 70-linear feet of stunning original decorative metalwork depicting pelicans, seahorses and whales in classic Art Deco style. All that remained was a twisted, melted, destroyed fragment. Excalibur was called to the site to take moulds from the metalwork on the opposite side of the building and from these moulds cast and replaced the destroyed original.
